When Environment Clearance Certificate Required:

If  EC Certificate required on  your project then you can start construction of the project only after EC Certificate obtain , The EC certificate certifies that the project will not harm the environment or society.if you run Project Activity/Construction without EC Then Your Project applicable under Violation of EC Rules act.

Which Project EC Permission Applicable

EC Permission Applicable to Project list cover Under EIA Notification 2006 and its amendment(Residential and Commercial Construction Project more than 20,000 sq.mt, Mining, Industrial), There is two type of project A or B(B1 or B2), MoEF gives clearance to category A projects and Category B is given clearance by the SEIAA, i.e. State Environment Impact Assessment Authority.

EC Certificate Exemption

  • EC Certificate Exemption is applicable for those industries or projects considered to have a low risk of environmental pollution and notified by the regulatory authorities

    • Final EIA/EMP report including public heraing minutes and executive summary
    • EC application (Form-2, EIA and related documents to be submitted/ uploaded on MoEFCC  portal (Parivesh)
